Clayton Moore was the PACAF Information Management Career Field Functional Manager from July 1990 to September 1995. During this same period he was also the Chief, Publishing Division for PACAF. Clay was born in Detroit Michigan and after graduation entered the Air Force in May 1968. He came directly into the Information Management Career Field and remained in that field his entire 30 years. He had varying assignments and various positions to include McClellan Air Force Base, California, Phan Rang Air Base, RVN, Ching Chuan Kang Air Base, Taiwan, Vandenberg Air Force Base California, Alconbury England, Beale AFB, California, the Air Force Academy, Peterson AFB, Colorado, Hickam AFB Hawaii, and his final assignment was at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with six oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Achievement Medal, and the Recognition Ribbon signifying his selection as the Air Force Outstanding Administrator of the Year, 1984. Other notable achievements include his selection as DOD Outstanding Black Military Role Model, 1991. He holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Relations from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona. Currently, he is the Base Personal Financial Program Manager in the Family Support Center at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. He was and still is single. |
